Founders Helena Marsh and Raj Patel met while volunteering at a Leigh library digitisation project. Collectors kept asking staff how to read Solana collection pages without falling for hype. We rented a ground-floor room, filled it with art history texts and printouts of on-chain metadata, and began hosting Saturday reading circles.
By 2023 demand outgrew the circles. We formalised as Link Node Core Learning Ltd, added structured workshops, and began visiting schools within Greater Manchester. The subject stayed the same: help people read public collection information carefully.
How we work
Sessions are conversational. Facilitators project live collection pages, pause on each field, and invite questions. We distribute paper checklists because screens move fast and notes on paper survive after the tab closes.
We do not sell tokens, manage wallets, or promise returns. Our income comes from workshop fees, coaching hours, and occasional curation briefs for local galleries planning digital art evenings.
People
Helena Marsh — former gallery registrar who catalogued born-digital editions for a Manchester cooperative. She leads metadata and provenance modules.
Raj Patel — journalist who covered regional arts funding and later wrote a newsletter on Solana creator interviews. He leads marketplace pattern reading and media responsibility segments.
Moira Chen — part-time outreach coordinator who schedules school visits and maintains our printed guide shelf.
